Job Requirements: • Serves as the first point of contact for questions, issues from the user population or from the super users. Responsible to restore the service by investigating the user’s problem, and engaging necessary technical support experts. • Responsible to analyze incidents that cannot be solved immediately and identify the root cause and propose solutions. • Able to propose solutions and improvement and modify application source code based on specifications approved by the Application Architect. Documents and tests solutions. • Demonstrated success maintaining solutions with in several of the following tools/technologies: Sharepoint, Visual Basic, Python, Unix scripting, Java, MS Excel, MS Access/Oracle/SQL, business intelligence, data analysis and visualization tools (e.g. Spotfire, R, Tableau, SAS/Visual Analytics/Visual Statistics, Cognos). • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to interact directly with a wide variety of personnel and documents own work and updates system documentation. • BS/BA or equivalent experience in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or health sciences/related field required. • Fluent English required (oral & written) • 5 years relevant experience developing or supporting computer applications in the pharmaceutical industry, drug development domain (not mandatory).
