Exp.Level: 5- 10 Yrs
Skills Required:-
· Minimum of 6 -10 years of experience with System Center Configuration Manager
· Minimum of 6 years of experience with OS Deployment, Imaging, Customizations etc.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience on Application packaging and deployment.
· Strong understanding of windows operating system migration from Win 7 to Win 10
· Must have recent enterprise experience with Windows 10 enterprise migrations
· Proficient with Windows 10 Image Engineering (Design, Customization), hands on experience needed
· Good Understanding of the following features of Configuration Manager Current branch
o Software Distribution (Applications/Packages/App-V packages)
o Patch Management
o OS Deployment (PXE Boot, creation of boot media, Driver Integration and Hardware testing, Image Capture/ Customization, offline media, offline image update etc.)
o Good understanding Windows 10 update and servicing models (current branch vs Current Branch for Business Vs Long term servicing branch)
o Hands on experience working on MDT (Microsoft Deployment Toolkit) 2010/2012/2013
o Experience on unattended installations - Zero touch or Lite touch images
o Hardware Integration and Certification of hardware models
o Creating Task Sequences, maintain and support corporate standard OSD process
o Ability to troubleshoot OS deployment issues, driver issues etc.
· Ability to provide technical leadership for a Windows 10 enterprise migration
· Experience of the development of standard O/S builds for Desktop or Server
· Troubleshooting Knowledge of Desktop O/S - Windows 7/8.1/10
· Hardware Familiarity (Desktop, Server)
· Strong knowledge on Application Packaging based on strict requirements given by client.
· Well versed in using Admin Studio and Install Shield including the Conflict Resolution Library
· Well versed in using ORCA tool for Package validation and resolve IES errors.
· Packaging for and/or migrating applications from Win 7 to Win 10
· Experience with Application deployment and compatibility testing using SCCM
· Strong Scripting knowledge required on (VB, WMI, Command Line, PowerShell)
· Thoroughly test the package before the deployment in the environment
· Maintaining the package from a security and application enhancement perspective (that may require additional packages to be created and distributed).
· Experience in TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP
· Experience in Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
· Should have the ability to use own initiative and tenacity to achieve deadlines and resolve issues as per agreed SLAs
· Excellent technical, business analysis and communication skills
· Good organizational, interpersonal and documentation skills
