Job Description:
1. Job Purpose:
The candidate need to Support JAVA based applications in HS. Candidate should have experience between 7-10 years for Position of Support Analyst.
2. Main Duties of the Jobholders:
The Basic duties of a Java systems programmer involve understanding the applications from support perspective, handling incidents, troubleshooting the issues/abends, coding new changes as per specifications and automating mundane support tasks.
Shift Details.
Associates are required to work in rotational shifts. Below are the shift timings.
o A shift â€" 7 AM to 4 PM
o B shift â€" 3 PM to 12 AM
o C shift â€" 11 PM to 8 AM
3. Skills set Required
a. Primary Skill/s:
- Expertise on at least one framework out of Hibernate, Struts, Spring etc , preferred to have multiple framework hands-on experience.
- JSP,HTML, Java, Java Applets, Web Programming Skills, Web User Interface Design, Webservice Knowledge , Software Debugging.
- Application server hands on experience on any of websphere, weblogic or JBOSS.
- Hands on experience on any database SQL, ability to write and modify complex queries.
- Ability to handle small team, prioritize , assign and review work , maintain work balance. Ability to prepare rotation plan for Team maintaining 24x7 availability.
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders, participate in portfolio level meeting and provide updates, excellent ownership skills and ability to participate and drive production bridge calls when needed.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills , ability to coordinate with multiple teams, ability to make decision on production issues and think towards workaround to bring down system up asap and later fix the problem through RCA route. Ability to visualize a larger picture and understand impact of issues on business.
- Good analytical & communication skills.
- Expertise in either DB2 or MYSQL or Informix or Oracle
b. Secondary Skill/s:
- Knowledge on ServiceNow tool and ITIL certification.
- SVN or Any versioning tool hands-on experience.
- Any Job scheduling tool knowledge preferred to have Control-M knowledge.
- Good To Have Retail domain Knowledge
- Production support experience, ready to work in 24x7 rotational shifts.
