Siemon seek an experienced .NET developer with Angular to build high performing, architecturally sound and scalable systems that align with our business needs over several core & critical technology areas. They should be able to partner with business to translate business needs into workable technology solutions. They should be hands-on in all aspects of the SDLC in an agile environment, producing detailed technical work and high-level designs as well as providing task plans to their manager. Siemon seek an engineer with the ability and interest in working on a broad range of different projects and who loves to write and automate code, is excited about building things and is passionate about robust software design
Applications Expertise Requirements
6+ years of software development experience, including all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
Expert in Microsoft .Net languages/technologies including C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, MVC
Expert in building web services using WCF/WebApi/REST and good understanding of SOA.
Very strong MS SQL Server development including Stored Procedures, Views, and optimization Experience in web development preferably ASP.NET using C#, CSS, JavaScript/DHTML and Ajax.
Should have good exposure to Design Patterns.
Experience in designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer).
Ability to design and optimize SQL Server stored procedures.
Strong Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP).
Experience of deploying applications
Experience with JQuery or similar technologies.
Managing/Updating staging or production environments is a great plus.
Experience working in Product development environment
Experience of Knockout JS/Backbone JS/Angular JS
o Technically competent with various software programs, such as MS-Office, MS-Visio, and TFS / Visual Studio 2005/2010/2012
o Experience in Agile and/or Iterative development is a huge plus
o Strong written and verbal communication skills
o Sharp analytical abilities, problem solving techniques, proven design skills and a track record of delivery
o Excellent team player, who takes pride in being accountable, takes ownership and establishes a high level of credibility with others in the organization.
