We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our new engineering team in Chennai, India. You will get to work with people as talented as you and develop software that reaches millions of users over the Internet. We are a Silicon Valley startup-like company. What you will do:
This role is for self-starters, wizards, ninjas or hackers who are able to learn fast, work with the latest technologies, meet tight deadlines and have fun while doing so!
Develop cloud based software that will be used by some of the largest operators, broadcasters, media companies and brands in the world to connect viewers with their interests, audiences with relevant advertising, analytic insights to business strategies, and ultimately, video with revenue.
Create development tools and automation systems for building and deploying our products.
Requirements:
Passion for building high quality softwares used by hundreds of millions worldwide.
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
Full stack software engineer with 6+ years of experience developing consumer facing applications.
In depth expertise developing highly available, fault tolerant and scalable consumer facing software (Go, Node.js, Ruby on Rails, Java, C++, C# or PHP) and web applications (object-oriented JavaScript, Actionscript, HTML5 or CSS).
Prior experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure etc.
Excellent programming skills, good understanding of data structures and time complexity analysis.
Fluent in English.
Stand out from the rest with one or more of the following:
SQL and database knowledge
Mobile development experience (Android, iOS)
Experience with large scale consumer-facing products; distributed systems experience is a plus
Strong API design skills and empathy for other programmers
Strong analytical and communication skills
Excellent work ethic and attention to detail
Very organized
