ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Develops user interfaces to applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests
Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms
Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools
Ensure product code and artifacts are managed according to guidelines
Apply usability procedures and principles
Develop and execute unit tests to ensure and maintain source code quality
Provide timely corrective actions on all assigned defects and issues
Share expertise throughout the organization
Good Communication skills
Knowledge on tax domain would be a plus
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications
Around 8 Years of experience in application and web development with emphasis on HTML/HTML5, XHTML, DHTML, XML, CSS2/3, JAVASCRIPT, JQUERY, AJAX, DOM, DOJO, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular Js, D3.js, React.Js, Node Js, Backbone Js, Knockout Js.
Good experience working on CSS Background, CSS Positioning, CSS Text, CSS Border, CSS Margin, CSS Padding, CSS Table, Pseudo Classes, Pseudo Elements and CSS Behavior's in CSS.
Experience in debugging the application using Firebug/Any debugger to traverse the documents and manipulated the Nodes using DOM and DOM Functions.
Experience in using Node.js to build a scalable network application where it can handle many connections concurrently.
Worked with the team of architects and back-end Developers to gather requirements, enhance the application functionality, and add new features.
Worked in a team involved in developing the UI, layout and front-end programming for the web applications that matches requirements of sprint.
Excellent working knowledge and thorough exposure on compatibility issues with different versions of browsers like Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari and Google Chrome.
Good Knowledge on how to implement User-centered design (UCD) methodology.
Good understanding of Document Object Model (DOM) and DOM functions.
Expertise in client side designing and validations using HTML, HTML5 and JavaScript.
Experience in designing websites with W3C standards using HTML4/5, CSS2/3 to get best cross-browser user experience for long-term user retention.
Skilled at analyzing and solving browser compatibility challenges and possesses ability to maintain consistency and well commented HTML and CSS markup.
Experience on working with CSS background, Layouts, Positioning, Text, Border, Padding, Pseudo Classes, Elements and CSS behaviors in CSS.
Built custom directives to build application components for rendering grids and maps.
Used Selectors, Events, Ajax and Dom Manipulation modules in JQuery for updating content on DOM nodes.
Expertise in unit testing JScripts using the unit testing framework.
Extensive knowledge in Model-View-Controller (MVC) architectures and the complete end to end integration.
Used TFS, GIT for version control and HP-ALM for bug fixing/defect tracking.
Experience with Styling and Responsive Design techniques using technologies such as LESS, and SASS
Extensive experience on implementing AJAX features using JavaScript and jQuery
Experience in Applications using AJAX, Object Oriented (OO) JavaScript, JSON, JSONP, and XML.
Experience in developing applications using Angular JS-Bootstrap like Grids, Toolbars, Panels, Combo-Box and Button etc.
Involved in designing the user experience interface UI/UX strategy, UI requirements, converting findings into UI designs
Experience in CSS pixel-level layout, Consistency with browsers, Version and Platform Independence.
Experience in using various jQuery UI controls and corresponding Event handlers etc.
Developed higher quality applications with tightly integrated and well-tested libraries and components.
