The following services will be provided by a DW / BI Developer
• Senior Informatica Power Center Developer
o Informatica tools and capabilities including:
Power center
Metadata Management
Data Quality
• Collaborate with team members to document business requirements in respect to data quality
• Document what metrics will be used to classify quality dimension of completeness, conformance, consistency, validity, uniqueness, and content
• Efficiently handled the Granularity, Indexing and Partitioning of underlying data storage platform
• Mapping experiences with SCD TYPES, Master, Transactional Subject areas and other dimensional models with respect to RDBMS based large Data Warehouses
• Performed Data Profiling, Standardization, Identifying Anomalies, creating/applying rules and mappings/mapplets
• Performed End-to-end Data Lineage using Metadata Manager
• Great understanding of Informatica Power Center [ Should able to develop mapping and workflow ]
• Identify Data Gaps and Quality issues plus recommending potential solutions
ETL Architecture, Design, Development and Deployment
o Data Warehouse Data Modeling: normalization, dimensional models, data marts, OLAP cubes
o ETL , BI Reporting, Dashboards
• Interact with Project Architects, SJH Technical and Customer staff in clarifying requirements
• Prepare designs and specifications, working with Project Architects and Team Leads
• Develop and Unit test
• Perform System testing, UAT and Go-Live activities
• Any Other project activity assigned by SJH Manager/Team Lead
