Job Description:-
Role Description
• Team Leader with hands on Java/J2ee Technology experience and minimal team lead experience
Responsibilities & Functions Technical
- Handle Impact analysis of existing modules for change requests.
- Undertaking R&D for new challenges
- Reviewing DB & Java Design
- Designing Web application built on Java, J2EE, Spring, Oracle /MySQL Database, Web logic Server or Tomcat
- Perform performance optimizations for application wherever required
- Performing POCs for new initiatives
Functional
- Working closely developers and testers to get deliverables assigned for project
- Assisting Project Manager to draft project plans and perform requirement as well as gap analysis
- Draft low level plans and estimates based on estimates from team members
- Doing documentation like SRS, Use Cases etc wherever required
- Pro-active project updates to project manager
- Involved in analysis, design, SIT, UAT and support
- Suggest alternatives to a problem under consideration
- Collaborate with other team to create quicker issue resolution to achieve high customer satisfaction
- Responsible for support related issues and stabilization of application issues
Required Mandatory Skills
- Technical Skills
o Hands on experience working on java technologies like Struts, JSF, MVC, Spring, JSP, Ajax, Hibernate etc
o PLSQL Queries (Medium to complex queries)
o Oracle 10g/ 11g, Weblogic 9.x / 10.x
o Usage of Eclipse / Jbuilder IDE
o jQuery 1.3.x/1.4.x, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
o Good Knowledge of Javascript
o Web-services based integration
o Experience using Maven and continuous integration platform
- Qualifications
o Preferably a BE / MCA / MBA
o 1-2 years of handling a team-
Preferred Skills
• Performance Tuning experience using J profiler , Melody
• Java Content Repository Integration
• New technologies for Mobile based Development
• Well-versed with Design Patterns
• Java Certifications
Required Soft Skills
• Needs to have 1-2 years team management experience
• Good Communication Skills (Oral & Written)
• Good Team Player
• Self- Starter
