Job description
In the role of Infrastructure Developer, you will be responsible for 2 key areas.
1. Development and support of automations using Vendor supplied software and custom Javascript / python / Java code.
o Vendor software used is CA Process Automation Manager (ITPAM) and BMC Atrium.
2. Development and support for in house web based (.Net) applications that support the day to day operation of GTI.
o Current applications include the Infrastructure Operations Dashboard (https://iod.jpmchase.net) and the PLM Web UI (https://plm.jpmchase.net)
The role will involve both application development and software support and is suited to someone who thrives is a varied, fast paced environment.
Duties will include
• New development of automations using the core products and custom code.
• New development of .Net based applications.
• Escalated support for existing automations and applications.
• Day-to-day management of workload and projects.
• Assisting with unit testing as appropriate.
• Documentation and hand over of prod releases to the production support team.
• Support for break fix as required.
• Management of vendor issues as required.
• Coordination of other technical activities associated with this role.
• Contribution of subject matter expertise as required.
• Contribution to JPMC and external audits if required.
• Assisting with root cause analysis to drive application development projects aimed at preventative maintenance and improvement in production stability.
• Contribution to management reporting where appropriate.
Essential Skills
• Experience in a large scale environment.
• Familiarity with process automation.
• A background in software development or engineering with a proven track record with at least one recognized language (.NET preferred).
• UNIX or Windows server support and scripting.
• Demonstrative knowledge of SQL and Web Services.
• Knowledge Agile development.
• Technical Problem Resolution.
• Ability to support across multiple platforms.
Desired Skills
• Familiarity with ITPA concepts and tools.
• Knowledge of CA Process Automation Manager version 4.2
• Knowledge of BMC Atrium.
• Languages - Java, Groovy, Javascript, ASP.NET, SQL, xpath, Python

• Bachelor's degree in some Information Systems discipline, 2 year technical degree or equivalent experience
