	Job Description
	Title: Product Security Assurance/Developer Engineer Level: Expert Location: Bangalore A HPE Product Security Assurance Engineer is a technical practitioner who helps the organization drive product security through security tooling, engineering and automation, with a focus on Application Security tools and techniques. The role requires deep understanding and familiarity with Static Code Analyzer security tools along with secure code development in the .NET (C#) technology stack with a focus on secure, large, integrated, data centric, web app/service and automation systems. Responsibilities and Requirements: 3-5 years of experience in a Security related field 6-10 years of experience in an Application or Product Engineering field 6-10 years of experience in .NET (C#) development The ideal candidate will need to have strong programming skills in .Net, C/C++ with deep understanding of security. Perform secure code analysis of source code using one of Static Code analyzer tools such as HPE Fortify SCA, Coverity, Findbugs to uncover security vulnerabilities. The candidate should be able to audit findings and explain issues to technical and non-technical product teams Strong background in security automation Working development knowledge of Windows Services, REST Web Services (WCF), IIS and basic networking principles Experience integrating with external products API's through scripts, Soap or REST web services or command line interfaces Experience developing, maintaining and deploying complex solutions Experiencing developing solutions with a SQL Server database backend Good English communication skills Intermediate or Advanced knowledge of Windows and Linux platforms Intermediate or Advanced knowledge of application mobile security tools Conducting research and providing technical security counsel Good analytical and problem solving skills. A fun and positive attitude! Following qualities are desirable: Ability to communicate and interact with various stakeholders such as security consultants, risk managers, developers, build engineers, and business sponsors Knowledge in secure development with Docker containers Ability to quickly learn and operate new security tools Experience building ASP.NET MVC web applications R&D experience with security tools Knowledge in other programming and scripting languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, etc. Experience with dynamic web application scanning tools such as HPE WebInspect and Burp Experience with open source code scanning tools such as Palamida Experience with host scanning tools such as Nexpose and Nessus Proven thought leadership via independent research and/or public speaking Industry certifications such as: CISSP, GIAC, CISM, ISSAP, CSSLP, GSSP and Security+ Working experience in software and hardware product security space Education First level university degree or equivalent experience required. Advanced university degree preferred.
