Job Description
Work closely with manager and Team members for development and maintenance projects.
Responsible for planning his activities in an efficient manner with no assistance from the supervisor
Responsible for analysis of current programs including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problem programs.
Responsible for development of new programs, analyses and making recommendations which yield a more cost effective product.
Analyse, design, and coordinate the development of software systems for basic or minor business requirements.
Analyse system specifications and translate system requirements to task specifications for junior programmers.
Responding promptly and professionally to bug reports to Client/Lead.
Review and repair legacy code.
Research and recommend software tools to management.
Provide assistance to testers and support personnel as needed to determine system problems.
Do code review and recommending changes to code and the environment that will affect system performance.
Solid understanding on the principles of routing, client/server based on programmers prospective.
Consult with the Lead and the Manager regarding professional skill development.
Should work closely with Lead in evaluating current systems and making decisions on future development.
As new technologies emerge and impact our systems, expected to learn these technologies very quickly
Resolve any problems involved in integrating new technologies with our systems.
Technical Skills:
Languages - C#, VB.NET, MVC, HTML, Java script, JQuery
Technologies - ASP.NET, WPF, WCF, Windows Services
Development tools - VS2010, TFS, VSS, Reports
Deployment - IIS web hosting and click once deployment
Debug skill - using MS VS.Net and browser tools
Database - MS SQL Server 2008, TSQL and Stored procedure
Other Skills:
Making project demo to internal customer/ Leads/ peers.
Providing technical support for various projects.
Strong and effective inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of staff.
Possess a positive attitude.
Ability to "think outside the box"
Good knowledge of writing program documentation.
Good knowledge of computer programming logics and flow diagrams.
Good knowledge of computer program design pattern methods and techniques http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_design_pattern
Good knowledge of mathematical and statistical principles and formulas.
Good knowledge of software security and encryptions.
Ability to design solutions to problematic programs.
Ability to solve problems quickly and completely.
Ability to identify tasks which require automation and automate them.
Ability to determine whether a particular problem is caused by hardware, OS software, application programs, or network failures.
