IT Risk & Security Management's (ITRSM) purpose is to ensure the security and resiliency of the Firm's computing environment, protect customer and employee confidential information, and comply with regulatory requirements globally. We accomplish this through strong information security leadership and active collaboration with line of business information risk managers to provide high quality security solutions and services that are focused on improving the Firm's risk posture.
IAS Program provides an enterprise-wide information and workflow management system that supports the affiliated outsourcing approval and reporting process. Affiliated Outsourcing is the establishment of services between legal entities of JPMC (all locations, all countries).
We are seeking an .Net Application Developer who can contribute to a fast-paced, high-energy team, supporting the systems and applications in development .
As a Application Developer, your primary responsibilities will include execution of
application development and technical support by following the software development lifecycle processes that will include interacting with business liaisons, business users and different technology groups on an ongoing basis, developing
technical design documents, analyzing potential risks/benefits in using a specified solution to address the business requirement, coding, and unit testing. Incumbent will also participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications; identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues; and review and provide feedback to the final user documentation.
Incumbent will be working on MyIAS application.
Basic Qualifications:
* Computer Science graduate or a masters degree holder in Computer Applications will be preferred
* Minimum 6+ years combined experience in Business Application Development, Application Delivery, Architecture, Design and Project execution
* Solid design, coding, testing and debugging skills
* Hands-on experience in C#, .Net and design techniques.
* Hands-on experience in C# , MVC, oops
* Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures.
* Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
* Performance tuning and trouble shooting experience.
* Demonstrated high level understanding of installed applications and successful IT project delivery.
Technical Qualifications:
* .Net , C# , ASP.Net , We bServices
* Build large scale enterprise web solutions for clients and end users located globally
* Build scalable and flexible software frameworks and web services using .NET
* Agile, Iterative and Waterfall development methodologies
* Able to define process and user interfaces, process automation, code generation and process re-engineering
Preferred Skills:
* Strong leadership skills and ability to interact with technology partners in other types of groups
* Ability to lead Employees and Contractors in geographically distributed locations across multiple time zones
* Ability to multi-task, deal with the unexpected at times and capability to execute under pressure
* Experience with mission critical applications in the financial industry will be a plus
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Demonstrate ability to interact with technical / non technical members of the organization
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field.
