QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Should have 8 years of developing software experience in a commercial software development environment; Minimum of 2 years leading a software development team of 3 or more people.
Proven ability to design and develop large scale, complex applications
Ability to work from rudimentary requirements and specifications
Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Strong understanding of the software development cycle.
Experience with Scrum methodology and Agile practices.
Strong leadership, time management, problem solving skills and resource administration.
Experience in working with various versions of .net frameworks (1.1, 2.0, 3.5, and 4.0).
Experience with teams spread across multiple locations across multiple time zones.
Technical expertise in building applications with WPF, WCF, Entity Framework and AJAX.
Working experience with HTML and DHTML; XML, XSL, and XSLT, VB Script, JQuery and Java Script.
Experience with managing the development of SaaS and cloud based applications is an advantage (e.g Salesforce.com).
Relevant experience with web services and REST services.
Working Knowledge of various versions of IIS (5.0, 6.0, 7.5) and IIS Administration.
SharePoint development experience is an advantage.
Experience using TFS.
Knowledge of various design patterns.
Working experience with relational databases Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and 2008.
Experience with business intelligence technologies such as SSIS, SSAS and SSRS is an advantage.
Willingness to dive into software environments and technical issues.
