Acting as a team leader, technical expert, and mentor for a group of developers, you will lead the development of products for our Software as a Service platform. Whether researching new technologies, designing advanced optimizations, or implementing world-class user interfaces you will have an immediate impact and ownership
Gain immediate responsibility to develop products and services for our Javelin Software as a
Service platform
Work "in the trenches" with junior developers to implement large features that wow our clients
Leverage your expertise in C#, ASP.NET, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Web Development, or Web
Infrastructure to build high quality software
Leverage your expertise Web application development.
Partner with Software Managers, Product Managers, and QA analysts to develop realistic
implementation plans with a focus on quality, sustainability, and delivering value to our clients
Stand up for engineering practices that ensure quality products: automated testing, unit testing,
agile development, continuous integration, code reviews, and technical design
Improve the technical skills of yourself and your team
Research industry trends and technologies, and promote adoption of best-in-class tools and technologies Understand client business issues and actively participate in designing products and features that meet client needs our products. The Software team at ZS is a casual, collaborative, and smart group with offices in India and the United States. As a Software Engineer Lead you will: Take initiative to advance the quality, responsiveness, architecture, or design of our platform, if you want to make it happen you can.
ZS welcomes candidates with degrees in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics or a related discipline. A demonstrated record of success and significant programming experience are required. Additionally, we seek individuals with the following qualifications:
● 6 + years of experience in developing software, ideally building software products in a Software as a
Service model
● Bachelor's Degree in CS or EE or related discipline
● Strong web application development, testing, and support experience
● Expertise writing web applications, ideally in the Microsoft.NET technology stack. Experience coaching
other developers to produce great code
● Strong oral and written communication skills
● Ability to manage ambiguity with evolving business needs
● Exceptional problem-solving, troubleshooting, and organizational navigation skills
● Ability to work in global cross-office teams, including travelling to remote offices as required
● ZS is a global firm; fluency in English is required
