Position - Infrastructure Consultant
We are looking for candidates with the following experience:
At least 7+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator/Engineer supporting enterprise-class production systems running Microsoft Windows Server and/or SUSE Linux
At least 5+ years of hands on experience supporting enterprise-class production systems virtualized on VMware ESXi Serverand/or Microsoft Hyper-V Server infrastructure
All candidates must be able to:
Communicate effectively and demonstrate great interpersonal skills
Work independently with minimal supervision and in a team environment
Efficiently manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines
Troubleshoot issues quickly and logically
In addition, we desire candidates with the following skillsets:
Hands on production experience with HP and Cisco UCS hardware
Task automation and/or workflow orchestration experience
Knowledge of IP data network and storage area network technologies
Candidates that we select will be expected to perform the following tasks:
Migrate virtual machines from one host server cluster to another using technologies such as VMware vMotion and Microsoft Live Migration
Provision and decommission virtual machines and host servers
Configure virtual machines with additional resources (e.g. CPU, memory, hard drives, etc.)
Verify server multi-pathing conditions and take corrective action when necessary
Create formal documentation for existing processes
